Words of Wisdom from up north

Marshall Rothstein, the latest addition to the Canadian Supreme Court, has graciously allowed me to share his Ten Rules for Appellate Advocacy.  As you can see, he is not only a very witty fellow, but his rules translate aptly to U.S. practice as well:
