It's going to be a busy week extracurricular-wise for me.
– Tonight I'm participating in a moot court for the first year students at the University of Maine Law School, as I've done for many years. I always learn a lot from mooting, whether I am the mooter or mootee.
– Wednesday is the public hearing on LD 1020 on same-sex marriages at the Augusta Civic Center.
- Thursday I'm back at the Civic Center to attend the MSBA conference on the bench and the bar

While the focus is on Superior Court and trial court practice, lots of my appeals are administrative, heard in the Superior Court, and there's a specific section on administrative appeals. It also looks like it's going to have every Superior Court Justice on the planet there and should be a useful conference.
