Ave atque Vale, Paul
We will get to Goose Rocks, but first some sad news. Paul Macri has passed away.
Paul was the pioneer for appellate practice in Maine. He was the first, as far as I know ("dirigo"). He focused his practice on appeals at Berman Simmons before Cathy arrived in Vacationland in 1986, and thereafter we argued against each other upon occasion. He was a good lawyer, a good friend, and I shall miss him. There aren't a lot of folks out there to talk to who get as interested in arcane appellate issues (and good murder mysteries). So long, PM.
There will be a service at Bates Chapel on April 19.
