We have some retirements and nominations in the news lately –
- Replacing Maine Bankruptcy Judge Haines is Peter Cary of MittelAssen LLC.
- MJ Kravchuk is retiring as of Jan. 14, and her replacement will be current Superior Court Justice (and ex-PA-ite) John Nivision.
- Current Maine SJC Justice Levy has been nominated to replace federal DIstrict Court Judge Singal, who has gone senior status.
- Nominated to replace First Circuit Judge Boudin, who has gone senior status, is David Barron, a Harvard Law Professor married to Juliette Kayyem, a Democratic candidate for Massachusetts governor.
