Now that Justice Sotomayor is beginning her new gig, I thought the article written a while back by my friend and confrere on the Board of Bar Examiners, Paul Mills, would be of interest.

The only update is of course replacing the reference to Justice Clifford with Justice Jabar. Paul, incidentally, is the fount of all knowledge on the history of the Maine courts (and Maine in general).
