Taking a little break from wading through the latest decisions, under the leadership of former Chief Justice of the Superior Court, Nancy Mills, the Superior Court Justices recently gave a farewell reception to Thomas E. Delahanty, II, who left as of July 1 to be the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine, after serving 27 years on the Maine Superior Court and after earlier having served in the U.S. Attorney post during the Carter administration. Justice Delahanty, brother of our Pierce Atwood's John Delahanty, is a committed historian of the Superior Court and provided the attached "Maine Superior Court Chronology," full of interesting nuggets of info about the Justices who have served on this court.
