New First Circuit Rule
At long last, briefs need no longer be filed in wordperfect:

While the rule is ambiguous, my understanding is that it does not apply to the appendix – the court does not want a disc of that. So we file the brief in hard copy, with a pdf on disc, and the pdf-disc rule applies to all filings longer than 10 pages other than the appendix.
