Well I still have more on the Arizona conference, plus I just returned from other good conference in Chicago, plus there have been some meaty decisions coming down while I've been flitting about, but first, getting priorities straight, I want to note Judge Lipez's excellent review of Judge Coffin's On Appeal in the latest edition of the Journal of Appellate Practice and Process. It is not just a book review, but a short discussion of the extraordinary talents of Judge Coffin, from the perspective of another appellate judge, and thus an invaluable addition in itself to the bookshelf on appellate advocacy.
Remember that the celebration of Judge Coffin's life has been re-scheduled for May 7 at the Abramson Center in Portland. I am looking forward to it.
