Yes, we will be getting to the most recent SJC and CTA1 decisions of interest for the last month – but first, here's a news flash.
The ABA's compendium of appellate rules in each jurisdiction is finally coming out, after years in the making. [http://apps.americanbar.org/abastore/index.cfm?pid=1620494§ion=main&fm=Product.AddToCart]. We did the Maine SJC chapter, with help from ace litigation associate Joshua Dunlap. Justices Alexander and Levy were also kind enough to take a gander. Rules change, and the chapter is not up to date, so as always LOOK AT THE RULES THEMSELVES before you do anything. But it's a nice treatise to add to your library, particularly if you do appellate work not just in Maine, and need a primer on other jurisdictions.
